critical documentary evening Thursday, March 17
Categories: General

The critical documentaries are moving to Kirkjugarðsstígur 4.

This Thursday:

"Dear friends of critical documentaries,

in the times of economical "crisis" people loose their jobs, enterprises
go bankrupt and questions become impossible to ignore.
Why is there still a class system organized by fear and opression and
why is there so little self-organization of workers?

In Argentina, workers have taken over factories and struggled with the
legal forces for years. The collectives there have many inspiring
stories to tell, stories to learn from and think about. "The Take"
(Naomi Klein, Avi Lewis) is a documentary about the worker's collective
that took over the Forja car plant and about their resistance to state
repression.

We look forward to many attendees and a vivid discussion, hopefully with
additional information from the participants.
